Nine Months Old

Wow, how nine months have flown by! My baby boy has grown into
a big boy. You no longer crawl like a worm but travel on all fours. You
pull up, travel in between, and cautiously get down from furniture,
toys, stairs, and even people. At your nine month check up you were
27 1/2 inches long and weighed 19 pounds 8 ounces. You received his
first flu shot. Your favorites toys are your Sing along Stage and Ride
along Car.

You love to sit in your car to watch your Baby Einstein videos and
ride in it outside while Mommy and Daddy push you. You are eating
table foods like goldfish, crackers, and cheese puffs, but turn your
nose to any baby food meats. You are babbling like crazy and who
knows where you get your chatty mouth from!

Bath time is always a fun time whether at home in our garden tub
or at EG and G's in their kitchen sink. The fun for you does not stop
after the bath. You can't wait to be unwrapped and have your hair
brushed, your ears cleaned, and your teeth brushed. You love being
a clean little boy. You play so hard all day that you take a 30 min nap
in the morning, a 2 hour nap in the afternoon, and hit the sack at
6pm --- sleeping till 6am the next morning. Mommy and Daddy are
so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy.

Pumpkin Patch

On October 4, 2008, I went to my first Pumpkin Patch in
Steel, Alabama. Mommy, Pappa, Nanna, and Aunt Kelly
went with me.

My own pumpkin! It was just the right size for me.

It did not taste as good as it looked.

Look at all these different type of pumpkins they had.
I enjoyed pulling the hay out of the hay bails.

Aunt Kelly and I hanging out in the shade.

War Eagle 08

On September 6, 2008, I got to experience my first Auburn
football game. Auburn was playing Southern Mississippi, and
it was HOT! First, we tailgated with G, Eg, Mommy, Daddy,
and Aunt Grace even made it by to see me. I loved watching
all of the people walking by. Finally, we made it into the game.
I got to see the eagle fly and the watch the band run on the field.
By the time the first quarter was over I had to go under because
it was too hot....and I was hungry. Mommy strolled me around in
the shade until I fell asleep. It was a great first football game.
The next game was against Tennessee and Nanna and Pappa
made it down. Daddy had to stay in Birmingham to work. Aunt
Katie and Uncle Philip flew in to see the game too. Thank you to
Aunt Grace and Uncle Cliff for letting me and Mommy sit with
you in the shaded scholarship seats. I enjoyed this years football
season and can't wait till next year. War Eagle!

At 7 1/2 months old Braden began crawling. I guess
you could call it more like the worm.

He gets a little side tracked by the TV.

Destin, Florida

In August 2008, Mommy, Nanna, Papa, Aunt Kelly, and myself
went to Destin, Florida. This was my first trip to the beach.
Hurricane Faye tried to make our trip gloomy, but we had one
beautiful day at the beach. At 7 am, on Friday morning, I got
my first feel of the sand. I was not to excited until I saw the
ocean. I could not take my eyes off of the waves crashing.
Finally, mommy let me get in. It was a little cold at 7am. Later
that day we went back to the beach and the wind was so strong.
The water was perfect though. I had a shallow sand bar that I
played on with aunt Kelly and Papa. Mommy actually got in the
water, but it was only to take pictures. After all the water fun, we
moved to the beach. I loved the way the sand felt between my
fingers and toes. I even liked the way it tasted. That night we
went to eat at Pompano Joes. We had great food and had a great
sunset. On Saturday, Daddy finally made it to the beach.... and so
did Hurricane Faye. I had a wonderful first trip to the beach and
want to thank Nanna and Papa for making it possible. We will
never forget it.

My First Swim

On June 16, 2008, at mom's house, momma and I went for my
first swim. I was kicking my legs and splashing the water all
in Mommy's face.

After all that work I got to relax in my turtle float. I liked
dumping my face in the front compartment of water. I
think it scared momma! It was fun in the sun at mom's
house.
